The Daily Pouch is supportive of civil society initiatives and believes that consumer advocacy is important in order to protect the rights of individuals to use pouches. They are a life saving product that provide millions of people across the globe a better method of using nicotine in comparison to smoking.

There are not many consumer advocacy groups yet. If you hear of any please let us know and we will add them to the list below.

Considerate Pouchers UK

Considerate Pouchers aims to educate about the role of pouches in a comprehensive approach to ending smoking, become the voice of pouchers around the world, and inform discussions that impact pouchers by securing variety, information, safety, and availability. You can get involved in Considerate Pouchers here.

Pouch Patrol

'Pouch Patrol' is an advocacy organisation dedicated to the promotion of nicotine pouches as a safer alternative to cigarettes. The group's objectives include raising awareness about less harmful nicotine products, fighting for regulations that reflect the harm reduction properties of these products, and advocating for taxation levels relative to the risk compared to traditional tobacco and cigarettes. They aim to educate and influence European regulators and politicians, standing on the side of informed nicotine pouch consumers. Their ultimate goal is for nicotine pouches to be readily available for all adult Europeans who wish to choose a safer alternative to smoking. Learn more here.

EU4Snus

EU4Snus (founded by Bengt Wiberg) is an advocacy group aimed at legalising Swedish snus (a smokeless tobacco product) in the European Union (EU). This group believes that snus, being 99% less harmful than cigarettes, should be available to the EU's 100 million smokers as a healthier alternative to smoking. They are strategising to overturn the snus ban either politically, for example by Sweden using its veto power, or legally, by a private individual taking a case to the European Court of Human Rights. EU4Snus encourages its members to actively engage in discussion and share content related to the cause. You can join their Facebook group here.
